Having a dog and cat of my own, I really loved the stories in the Garnett Collection! The common thread in each story is the unconditional love that is given, not only to us but sometimes to surprising recipients, by these animals. What a wonderful world it would be if we could mimic their behavior and treat each other as kindly.
